Neptune Court privatization fee falls by $150,000

When Neptune Court attempted to privatise their estate two years ago, there was a major hurdle. The Ministry of Finance valued their privatization fee at $144 million, which works out to a whopping $190,000 per unit.

This amount essentially derailed the privatization process. Now the estate is trying again. And the new figure?

$40 million. Or about $50,000 per unit.

This incredible drop in costs have stumped many Neptune Court residents, many are questioning why the previous valuation was almost 4 times higher.

However, for privatization to take place, over 75% of the residents must agree
